Beginner's Photography Course 2024-1

The Beginner's Photography Course will take you from the basic anatomy of a DSLR, through lenses, the Exposure Triangle, composition, shaping and the colour of light to basic processing and editing skills.

Thursday evenings from 7pm to 9pm fortnightly.

The first session on 8th February will consist of an introduction and some paperwork, followed by a practical session.

For the rest of the sessions the first hour will comprise of the theory lesson.  The second hour will be a practical session, putting your new knowledge into effect.  For the practical session you will be photographing either a still life scene or a model.  There will be a handout at the end of each class.

Tea, cofee and biscuits will be provided.

You will need a digital SLR or Mirrorless camera with Manual Mode and a hot-shoe fitting and at least one lens.  A tripod will be useful for some of the lessons, but we can provide one if required.
